Manchester Central Mosque & Islamic Cultural Centre is a registered charity under the charity number: 1081649. The Mosque offers a place of worship as well as funeral services and facilities to the Muslim community. Manchester Central Mosque encourages and promotes individual character and spiritual development of Muslim citizens by means of teaching and practicing Islam according to the teachings

of the Qur’an (the world of Allah) and authenticated sayings and actions fitting the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Allah’s final messenger. The Mosque also promotes the idea of community cohesion without losing any of the former values and beliefs, by ensuring relations are kept with authorities and public services as well as non-Muslim members of the community in order to keep a positive, constructive and healthy role in society. This page is intended for the sole purpose of teaching and spreading knowledge. Comments posted from the Admin or other Members does not necessarily reflect the view of the Mosque. Our 'Gup Shup' initiative for our elder community will continue with our next session being on Wednesday 26th August from 11am until Zuhr jamaat In Shaa Allah

If you know an elderly gentleman or lady over 60 years of age who may benefit from a welcoming environment where they can feel at ease and discuss any matters close to them over a nice cup of tea (with biscuits of course!) then make sure they know to come along!!

💚 Annual Eid Milad un Nabi ﷺ Jaloos & Conference 💚

Alhamdulillah in conjunction with Manchester Mosque Alliance, our annual procession through the streets of Manchester marking the blessed birth of RasoolAllah ﷺ will once again allow you to rejoice and spread the beautiful name of Islam far and wide

Our day begins at 12:30pm at Daar ul Uloom Islamia in Longsight, where there will be a short gathering with speeches from local ulema. After Zuhr salah has been offered (jamaat at 1:30pm) the procession will begin, with a view of arriving at Manchester Central Mosque at 3:15pm

There will be another short gathering at the masjid, with the keynote speech this year and chief guest being the world renowned Dr Shaykh Mufti Monawwar Ateeq

Be sure to save the date, join us and bring your children so they too may immerse themselves in the love and joy 💚

Friday 28th August Hazrat Pir Sultan ul Arifeen Siddique will be delivering a keynote speech on 'The Greatest Blessing: Muhammad al Mustafa ﷺ'

We shall be holding two clinics on the next two Fridays for both brothers and sisters - make sure you take the few minutes out of your lives as a simple check like this can be an important part of looking after your health

💚 Rabi ul Awwal Celebrations - From the Birth of Mercy to the Unity of the Ummah 💚

Alhamdulillah to commemorate the birth of RasoolAllah ﷺ this year in association with Manchester Mosque Alliance there will be 20 events held across the city in the space of 16 illuminous days!

Qu'ran recitation, naats and speeches in English & Urdu will be at the core of each event as we honour and praise the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Each event will start after Asr unless noted on the poster attached and each has a different topic so you are not hearing the same information repeatedly

Be sure to try to attend and seek the blessings In Shaa Allah - please ensure you check each organisations own poster for their event to confirm start time and facility arrangements 💚
