Today marks Jane's first anniversary as Adam's volunteer PA!

We are so grateful for all that Jane has done over the past year. Her support, organisation, encouragement, and willingness to quietly get things done behind the scenes have been such a blessing.

Thank you Jane!

What exactly happened at Pentecost, and why does it still matter today?

As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, this article explores the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the church, and how God brings people from every nation together through Jesus Christ.

A really helpful read as we prepare for our celebrations and international bring-and-share meals!

Read it here:

A very warm welcome to baby Olulola! 👶✨

On Thursday we had the joy of celebrating at a traditional Nigerian baby naming ceremony with friends from church, joined by family and loved ones from both Nigeria and the USA.

It was such a special time full of joy, thanksgiving, prayer and celebration as we welcomed Olulola and gave thanks to God together.

We loved sharing in such a rich and meaningful occasion. 💛

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, and both of our services will have a more international feel as we celebrate the nations coming together to worship!

You’re warmly encouraged to wear traditional dress or more celebratory clothing, and to bring along some traditional food to share together.

We’ll be enjoying bring and share meals after both services:
After our 10:30am service at The Mill
After our 4:00pm service at Green Lane

It promises to be a joyful day of worship, unity, and celebration, come and be part of it!

It's just two days until we’re hosting a workshop for parents and carers looking at practical ways to help children, teens, and families as a whole, navigate the online world.

Together we’ll think about both the good and difficult sides of life online, including things like smartphones, social media, gaming and online safety, with helpful ideas and opportunity for discussion and questions.

Speak to Katie for more information or simply come along!

We’d love to invite you to our Welcome Afternoon Tea this Sunday from 2pm at Green Lane.

It’s a relaxed opportunity to meet others, get to know people from church, hear a little about ECC, and ask any questions you may have along the way.

Did you know that children in the UK aged 8–14 now spend an average of nearly 3 hours online every day, rising to around 4 hours a day for 13–14 year olds?!

That’s why we’re hosting “Left to Their Own Devices” next week. It's a practical workshop to help parents and carers think wisely about both the opportunities and challenges of the online world - including things like phones, social media, gaming, screen time and online safety.

Whether you feel confident, concerned, or just want help navigating it all as a family, this evening is for you.

Speak to Katie for more information, or simply come along!
