We Love Islam

We Love Islam "It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision.

And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error." {Qur'an 33:36} لا اله إلا الله محمد رسول الله [ أشهد أن لا إله إلا ألله * وأشهد أن محمد رسول الله ] ...

That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of God";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are f

ull of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not: Nay, God raised him up unto Himself; and God is Exalted in Power, Wise; And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them; [An-Nisa, Qur'an 4:157–15]

"THOSE AMONG THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WHO DISBELIEVED WERE CURSED BY THE TONGUE OF DAWOOD AND 'EESA, THE SON OF MARYAM. THAT WAS BECAUSE THEY DISOBEYED AND WERE TRANSGRESSING BEYOND BONDS. THEY DID NOT USE TO FORBID ONE ANOTHER FROM EVIL AND WRONGDOING THAT THEY COMMITTED. VILE INDEED WAS WHAT THEY USED TO DO." (Qur'an 5: 78-79)

Sahih Bukhari 4.543, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a. The Prophet(PBUH) said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to him, "Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting (salutation) and the greeting (salutation) of your offspring." So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, "As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi" (i.e. Peace and Allah's Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam's salutation the expression, 'Wa Rahmatu-l-lahi.' Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam's creation.

“If a rebellious evil person comes to you with news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.” (Quran 49:6)

This dua was recited by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) when seeing the new moon, and it can be used to welcome the start of Ramadan.

Dua for intending to fast the full month of Ramadan

Arabic: اللهم إني نويت أن أصوم رمضان كاملا لوجهك الكريم إيمانا واحتسابًا، اللهم تقبله مني واجعل ذنبي مغفورًا وصوما مقبولا

Transliteration: Allahumma inni nawaytu an asuma Ramadan kamilan lillahi ta'ala bi-imaanin wa ihtisaban, Allahumma taqabbalhu minni waj'al zunubi maghfuratan wa sawma muqabbalan

This dua emphasizes the intention behind fasting and seeks acceptance from Allah.

Valentine’s Day is not for Muslims, and celebrating it is haram in Islam.

Every day should be a day of love within our homes — loving our spouse, our children, and our families for the sake of Allah.

Our religion is clear and straightforward. No one has the right to question or dilute the teachings of Islam. Valentine’s Day is haram — no matter how much someone tries to sugarcoat or rebrand it. Wallahi, it remains haram.

On the authority of An-Nu‘man ibn Bashir (رضي الله عنه), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:

“The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters which many people do not know.”
(Al-Bukhari & Muslim — Hadith 40, An-Nawawi)

All perfect praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and Messenger.

Respected brothers and sisters, with Valentine’s Day approaching, I see many Muslims preparing and feeling excited to celebrate. But I ask: do we truly know why this day is being celebrated?

Just as we know the reason behind celebrating Eid, do we know the origin and background of Valentine’s Day? There is an uncomfortable truth behind this so-called “Day of Love” that many Muslims are unaware of. When asked, people often respond, “We are just celebrating love and making our loved ones happy. It’s something nice.”

First, if you are married, you do not need a day associated with a Christian saint to celebrate love. You have every single day of the year. If your intention is to celebrate your spouse, then appreciate them daily. Thank Allah for them. Make duʿā’ for each other. Teach one another something beneficial. Strengthen your marriage every day — not just on February 14th.

If you are not married, then free mixing, dating, and romantic interaction are already impermissible. There should not even be a discussion about celebrating Valentine’s Day in that case. Islam does not permit relationships outside marriage. Such paths lead toward zina, which is clearly haram.

Islam honors love and romance— but only with spouses
