Big week. Big prayers. Big finish.

This year’s Week of Prayer was our biggest yet, with loads of people showing up in all sorts of ways. Early mornings, prayer room, lunch prayers, Breakthrough nights. It was honestly really encouraging.

We wrapped it all up with the biggest CCM Day ever, all sites together in one room. Worship was great, the vision shared was exciting, and it genuinely felt like momentum building.

Fallowfield, it is nearly time. Carols, twinkly lights, festive refreshments, and an open invite to turn up in a Christmas jumper or your best nativity costume. Bring a mate who secretly loves a sing some banging carols. It’s going to be class. Sunday 7th December at 5PM, Luther King House, Brighton Grove (M14 5JP).

We’re heading to IKEA (yes, for the essentials you forgot 👀… cutlery, drawing pins, and probably candles you don’t need).

✨ It’s honestly one of our fave ways to hang out. Food + a wander = the perfect way to get to know people. Even better, bring a mate along!

🌳 It’s officially the start of our Week of Prayer!

This is a moment to pause, pray, and really lean into God’s heart for Fallowfield, Manchester, and beyond.

Across our 7 sites we’ll be praying together all week, from early morning Zoom calls ☕️🙏, to our dedicated prayer room, and finishing with a big prayer + praise gathering at LKH on Friday.

This morning we prayed for our leaders, Isaac, Rosie & Conor (who’ll be moving over to the new morning meeting with next Sunday), and our newly appointed leaders Adam & Ele 🙌

We also had with us, sharing a brilliant preach about having vision for Fallowfield, which is available to listen back to, on our Sermon Podcast. From back in the day stories of vodka bars to the power of great worship today, he reminded us how God has been at work in this community and how the culture of Fallowfield is changing towards long-term roots, family and outreach.

Big lovin to everyone who came out this morning, what a Sunday! 🧡

Our final Give Big Sunday is this Sunday and here in Fallowfield, we’re right at the heart of the story.

📍 Every other Sunday afternoon, our building has been home to Iglesia de Cristo Manchester, our growing Spanish-speaking congregation, sandwiched between our morning and evening gatherings. We’re now moving this to weekly Sunday mornings, to become a fully fledged CCM site, so we need to get them a great place to grow into.

☕️ Every Wednesday, we open the doors to our International Café, welcoming people from across the globe to find friendship, community, and a space to explore faith, and it’s bearing real fruit.

Fallowfield may be known for its student population, but we’re seeing people of all ages, nations and backgrounds gather here. And we believe God is doing something beautiful.

We’re praying for £20,000 across to fuel this kind of international ministry.

What a brilliant morning celebrating the resurrection together! For the first time, we joined with our Spanish-speaking community, Iglesia de Cristo Manchester, for a bilingual service, worshipping in both English and Spanish, hearing from God’s word, and enjoying the joy of being one church family.

We rounded off the morning with a roast dinner and some seriously good cake, a proper feast!

Jesus is alive. 🧡 There’s hope for everyone.
