God Made Mankind, Why?

Every man is doomed when we sin and can’t get to heaven, because God is holy and righteous and he can’t abide sin in any form.

So, Jesus had to come and live among us, but we rejected him outright. He was eventually crucified on a cross as a sacrifice for God, for us to go to heaven.

This was the only way.

The Bible speaks about man in his sinful past, but God wants us to repent and change our attitude to what he wants and desires.

God made the Animals, Why?

In the beginning, God intended to let the animals go free. He spent two days doing this, putting the creatures in the sea, the birds in the air and the animals on the land.

After that, man came along and spoiled it.

There are many animals that run and move about like us. This earth is home to people and animals and man should not interfere with the animals.

They have right to be there.

People are sinful and they think that animals don’t really matter at all. God watches over them and they are close to him.

God Made Trees, Why?

In the Bible there are a lot of trees. But before God made man he created some fine trees.

Why did God create trees? Why did he do so with the bark, the branches, the leaves and the fruit all do different. Why did he not do it all of the same kind?

Trees sway in the wind and sometimes storms and hail come down on the trees. How did God work out the flexibility of trees? When the seasons come and go, but the tree will still be there.

Man and all his wisdom, has forgotten the tree.

Study to be Strong

What a terrible idea the Christian tradition is! It goes back a long way. Someone thought of an idea, over the years, it became something everybody needed. It replaced what the Lord had given us in the Bible.

Study the Bible if you want to grow up and do the Lord’s work. If you fail to do that you are wasting your time.

My work in theology and principles of behaviour is only as good as the scriptures I present to you.

This is what God expects you to do: read and study the Bible.

Study for Open Air and Children’s Work

I am too old to work with children, but I hope that what I have done will encourage you to go out and try doing open-air work. If you had a team around you it is better than doing it alone.

My work is to try to get you to understand what the difference is between adults and children so I have prepared it with the pictures on a sketch board.

If you do that all the adults and children will focus on the sketch board and you with a paint brush can carry on. If you get stuck, the words and the pictures will guide and help you.

Study to Keep Praying

There’s many examples in the Bible were godly people prayed. They lifted themselves to God, over family, the church, the believers and wider still. They prayed as if something was going to happen. Each one had a prayer.

Prayer is important because if we don’t pray, nothing will happen.

God expects that studying the Bible goes from God to you. You respond to God but praying every day.

My book is that all of the Bible contains prayers, many prayers. I think that you do well to study them.

Study Through The Ages

I always promised that I would write a book giving a selection of words how they changed throughout the Bible.

But I didn’t realise that God in his greatness and wisdom had a master plan.

Though all of the authors had in their way of writing down what they thought, the places where they lived, the current ideas, the situation of the times and the concept of what they were expecting to happen.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
"After university I went to the London Bible College to prepare for missionary work, but the Lord didn’t want me to go there. So I carried on as a project engineer working in industry and in my spare time, helping people read and study the Bible.

In church, one day, a person got up to read a passage. But he did not have any idea how the words should sound, and he stumbled over the verses. It all stems from not reading and studying the Bible, the whole Bible.

So, I went home to produce some materials and advertised in a church magazine. I was really stunned to find out how badly people needed help. In the United Kingdom, America, and the rest of the world, people were asking me to help them from the advert. I helped one vicar, Bible students, teachers, and others to discover what the Bible says.

I’m convinced that the way forward is to really understand the Bible. If you do that, you will have answers to most questions: What happens when we die? What should happen while we are living? Why is there so much violence all around us, and what can God do about it?

I have been going to church for a good number of years, and I have been an Elder. Some churches are very good, and some are not so good. But in all these churches, the studying of the Bible separates the ones who want to know, from the ones who can’t find the time to find out what God is saying to us."
