"With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

—Micah 6:6-8

This year is an opportunity to grow closer together as a community as we encourage, honour, submit, forgive, and confess to one another. We pray this series will help to fuel our vertical worship, inner transformation, and local/global intercession as we continue to pray for Greater Manchester, Justice, and Nations.

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness."

—Matthew 7:21-23

“But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
— Psalm 19:12-14

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
— James 3:17-18 NASB

In the past few weeks, we've had the privilege of working with a couple different ministries we know and love.

Friday, 11 October was World Homelessness Day. Our dear friend, from , visited us to talk about what how we can pray for those struggling with homelessness and other related matters, and how to pray for the ministries and charities who serve those communities. He then led us in prayer over those topics. It was an enlightening and encouraging night.

Friday, 4 October was a story all its own. We were suddenly short a worship leader that night and didn't have any back ups. But even before a brief prayer of, "Lord, would you provide a worship leader for tonight," was uttered, He already had a plan worked out. Alliance Church Manchester had some visitors from America and they were spending their last night in the UK enjoying an MHOP set. Breaking the news that we didn't have a worship leader felt as though it'd be disappointing, but instead, it was God uniting hearts from across the world. They had their own worship leader present who joyfully and eagerly took over on the keys, accompanied by their own leader Justin on Cajon and MHOP's Rachel on backing vocals with Mike on the mic for prayer.

It's beautiful to see how God brings people from all ministries, nations, and walks of life together, and how we can flow as a team, united in one Spirit. How marvelous are His ways to show us that whether it's a long standing friendship, or complete strangers, we really are one family in Jesus.
