What a week. 🙌
This year’s Week of Prayer was our biggest yet, and it honestly showed. Early mornings, packed prayer room, lunchtime prayer, and Breakthrough gatherings across the city. People really showed up to seek God together.

We finished the week with our biggest CCM Day ever, all sites together at Parrs Wood. The room was buzzing. Worship, vision, stories, and so many familiar faces alongside new ones too.

Tim shared vision for where Christ Church Manchester is heading, and it felt like a proper moment of faith and expectation. Grateful for what God is doing among us. Onwards. 💛

We’re getting together on Thursday 16th October, 7:30PM at Luther King House (M14 5JP) for an evening all about how to share your faith in everyday life.
It’ll be practical, encouraging, and something we can all do.

🌇 Gorton at Golden Hour

Last week, we gathered with all our sites across the city to pray for breakthrough, and it feels like something’s stirring here too.

We’ve seen new families come through the doors, prayers answered in beautiful ways (including one refugee family moving into a house right across the street from church), and everyday conversations about Jesus starting to spark, even among our teens.

There’s more to come. More to believe for. More to pray into.

God’s doing something special in Gorton. New families getting stuck in, gospel conversations sparking (even among our teens!), and bold prayers being answered. One refugee family just moved into a house right across the road from church.

We’re asking for more. More boldness, more local housing, and lasting fruit from these moments of mission.

There’s nothing quite like it. Baptisms are always a celebration and this one was powerful. ⚡️💛
Join us Saturday 21st June, 11AM at Kingsburn Hall (M19 1RS) as we cheer on those going public with their faith, followed by a bite to eat and time to hang out.

Our Give Big Sunday is this Sunday, and in places like Gorton, we see both the deep need and the deep faith that fuels our vision.

We have two powerful ministries serving internationals across our city:

✨ Iglesia de Cristo Manchester, now looking to meet every Sunday and soon moving to mornings. We’re investing to help it grow into a full CCM site.

☕️ International Café – a weekly gathering where people from around the world find friendship, community, and a safe space to explore faith. Many have come to know Jesus through this!

We’re praying for £20,000 to continue this work, and your prayers and generosity are key.

Our final Give Big Sunday is this Sunday, 11th May, so now’s the time to join in.

What a brilliant morning celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, the heart of our faith and the hope of the world.

We worshipped, opened the Bible together, and shared in the joy of Easter as a church family. So good to see new faces and familiar ones too.

On Good Friday, we invite you to come and see the power of the cross, what it has achieved for the world and what it means for us today, right here in Manchester.

John Owen will be speaking on the power of the cross of Christ, exploring how it changes everything, our lives, our city, and our hope.

Our friends are hosting a Fun Day on Saturday 5th April from 10AM – 1PM, with Easter egg hunts, crafts, a bouncy castle, and pancakes!

It would be amazing if you could come and support them in their mission to reach more Denton families with children. Whether you can pop by for a bit or bring the whole family along, we’d love to see the place buzzing with people!
