Yesterday, we said fairwell to Father Keith Henshall.
Father Keith moved to Manchester in 2016 following his retirement from full-time ministry in the Diocese of Blackburn. Since then, St Ann’s has been his home church and he has become a much loved, much valued member of the ministry team.

We are especially grateful for his ministry during our vacancy before Rector Adam joined us. His calm presence, encouragement, and generous support helped to guide the church through that time. He played a significant part in St Ann’s, so that we emerged a stronger and more united church.

Father Keith’s pastoral wisdom, thoughtful preaching, faithful prayers, and gracious leadership of services have been a real blessing to so many of us, and his kindness and gentle humour have brought warmth and encouragement to our church family.

We will miss him greatly. We send him our love, gratitude and best wishes.

Today we remember with sorrow and love those who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bombing nine years ago. We continue to hold in our prayers all who carry the grief and scars of that terrible night.
