Tomorrow (7th June) Mission Church will be taking place in Shakerley — we’re gathering for a time of worship, community, and connection 💒

It’s a relaxed cafe church style worship with food and drinks available for all.

Sending lots of thank yous and Blessings to all our volunteers in our church family. And also to all those that work in our community. Thank God for all the hard work you do and for following your calling 🙏❤️

This week is national volunteer week...
We just wanted to say a big big thankyou to all of our volunteers! Weather you are on the front line helping with the day to day stuff,running the community cafe, helping make affordable meals or simply taking time out to have a chat and just listen to people over a cuppa ☕️ or working behind the scenes 🫣. Honestly without all of our volunteers we wouldnt be able to provide the service we do today!! Including cafe Eva so its a big thankyou for everything you do!
You are all amazing 👏

Just a reminder that we are gathering tomorrow at Shakerley Community Centre!

Well done to Cafe Eva and shakerley community centre for feeding all our community 🙏

Did you know we have two community fridges inside shakerley community centre. These are filled with surplus food from supermarkets that would normally just go to landfill. We also have a small sections for bakery items this is completely free.....here are our opening time why not pop over and take a look

Today is Pentecost 🌈🔥🎉 — when we celebrate Jesus fulfilling His promise by sending the Holy Spirit 🔥 to the disciples, and the birth of the Church 💒

Although we are not meeting today, we would love you to join us next Sunday for our Pentecost celebrations 🎉

Pentecost Holy Communion begins at 2:30pm on Sunday 31st May ⛪ followed by food and a treasure hunt for all ages!

These are just 2 for £1 😍😋 this week we have
Beef stew, chicken stew, cornbeef hash, sausages in Onion gravy and chicken curry.
