Christian Aid Week begins on Sunday. If you've not heard of them, Christian Aid do wonderful work bringing real hope and change to people throughout the world, regardless of faith or anything else.

To mark Christian Aid Week, we'll be having a special service on Sunday, where we'll find out more about the work they do, pray for them and think about some of the ways we can bring hope and change to others. There'll be a chance to donate; and we'll be selling cakes after the service, all the proceeds of which will go to Christian Aid. Join us from 10:45am.

And on Friday and Saturday next week in the Market Cafe, we'll be selling more cakes, again in aid of Christian Aid Week. The Cafe's open as always from 10am-1pm.

If you want to find out more about Christian Aid Week and what it supports, then have alook at their website:

A reminder that we gather every Sunday morning at 10:45am for worship, and you are always more than welcome to join us. Tomorrow is our monthly communion service, where we share bread and wine to remember Jesus' death for us.
We'll also be exploring the "Beatitudes", where Jesus gives a very different view on who's "blessed" than we might expect.
And stay for refreshments afterwards!
