'I've been reading the Bible you gave me'

Our team in the North East recently partnered with Kings Church Colburn for three days of outreach and youth events. As the young people came along to the football sessions the team were running, they got to learn some new skills and hear testimonies from the team.

When Josiah shared a verse from the Bible in the God Slot, one of the lads there asked where in the Bible it was so he could look it up. The team got to chat with the lad at the end and he shared that he came last year to the football outreach that Kings Church had run. There, he was given a book of Luke, which he’d been reading ever since. He's now reconnected with the church to learn more about the Bible!

God has been doing amazing things in Lydia's* life!

Shopping at South Bank Community Grocery (Middlesbrough) has not only helped her feed her five children, but it's where she's found faith too. After hearing a testimony from the manager and coming along to a church service, Lydia accepted Jesus into her life and got baptised at Easter. She now volunteers at the grocery and is going from strength to strength in her faith.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic events at Big Church Festival. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected and their families, please do join us in praying for everyone involved and those who are grieving.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

'I've been thinking about giving my life to God'

Whilst out on mission in London, a team of young people taking part in The Scattering met Logan* and offered to pray for him. Logan was amazed by this and said, 'One of the things on my to-do list this year is actually to give my life to God! I've been thinking about it a lot recently and questioning what I believe.' This was a great opportunity for the team to share the gospel and as the conversation continued, everything seemed to click into place for Logan.

The team were able to pray with him there in the street as he chose to follow Jesus. He was filled with so much joy and was really excited to connect with the local church!
