Thank you to Sophie from GIFT who came in today! We made cards and packages for the wives of soldiers and they will be sent off to Israel.

Thank you to Rabbi A Y Goldman and Mr Shaya Halpern for coming in today to talk to the girls about The Helpline.
The girls learned that it's not always best to keep things bottled up inside them and to talk to someone they feel comfortable talking to if something is bothering them.
The girls then decorated their own 'Positive Affirmation' mirrors as well as a large mirror that will be hung up at the helpline centre.

What a fab session back for the Chesed Club after a break over Pesach!
We had Nussi Burns from Hatzola come in and do a first aid demonstration with the girls. He spoke to them about CPR and choking and they were able to practice these on the "dummies".

Some of the girls of the Chesed Club are taking part in the Great Manchester Run next month.
We are raising money for the Friendship Circle in Manchester who help enrich the lives of Jewish children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities.
The girls and the Friendship Circle would greatly appreciate any donation you are able to give.

Today we had Nadav come in from JAMH to talk about how they help the community. The girls decorated a "gratitude" jar for them to fill with gratitude notes.

We then finished the session with pizza and chips 🍕🍟 to mark the end of the term!

Looking forward to restarting after Pesach!
