⚠️ Manchester Half Marathon: Sunday 4 October!

Up to 31,000 runners will take to the streets for this year’s Manchester Half Marathon, raising vital funds for charities across the country.

The event will involve road closures across Trafford and Manchester, which may affect travel to Ascension Church and the surrounding area.

If you are travelling by car, bicycle, scooter or another vehicle, please check the road closures in advance, plan an alternative route where necessary and allow extra time for your journey.

Looking for a gentle way to improve your wellbeing, movement and mental calm?

Join our weekly Tai Chi & Chi Kung classes, suitable for all ages and abilities. Sessions can be done sitting or standing, so beginners are very welcome.

Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes. Mats are provided, or feel free to bring your own.
