The Manchester and Salford Ecumenical Whit Walks return to the streets of Manchester on Monday πŸŒŸπŸ™πŸ“£

We are looking forward to this special event, as parishes and groups from across the region come together for a joyful public procession and act of worship.

If you'd like to walk in the parade, you are more than welcome to join the Transforming Prayer Community led by Kim Morgan-Jones and Bev Angier. They say, "We will meet at 9:30am in the Cathedral Gardens and will be holding a huge banner so it'll be easy to find us!"

We invite you to come along, line the streets, show your support and join in on the day ❀️

Today we remember the ninth anniversary of the Manchester Arena terror attack, which took 22 lives and caused lasting harm to many others. We pray for all those affected, for bereaved families and friends, survivors, and the wider Manchester community as we continue to grieve and remember.

The names of the 22 victims will be read aloud during services at Manchester Cathedral today. Join us at Morning Prayer at 9am, Holy Communion at 1:10pm and Evening Prayer at 4:30pm.

The cathedral will also be open throughout the day to anyone wishing to light a candle or pray.

Please sign if you feel able. Thank you
