Bishop Timothy Menezes is coming to the Malverns on Saturday 20th June.

He is walking the Malvern Hill Ridge from the British Camp and back - a total of 10 km raising money for the Andrew Robinson Young Peoples Trust and celebrating Mass there.

The Andrew Robinson Young People's Trust was created to support young people facing a variety of barriers and challenges in life. It was set up after the tragic death of Andrew Robinson aged 33, a 4th year seminarian studying for the Catholic priesthood who contracted terminal bowel cancer.

Yesterday we had an incredible Intercultural Day at St Joseph's. The One World Group would like to thank everyone who contributed something from their country, whether participating in the Mass, singing, dancing or bringing food to share. Thanks also to all those who helped organise the event and on the day itself. This was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity in our parish, and we're already looking forward to next year's event!

A wonderful Celebration of Pentecost this year, when Jatinder, who has been a part of this year's RCIA process, was baptised, confirmed and made his First Holy Communion. And everyone celebrated with a cake afterwards. (The church wasn't empty... The photo has been edited to remove faces).

The children preparing for their First Holy Communion, recently used puppets to explore the story of Zaccheus, how he was changed when visited by Jesus in his home. They reflected on how Jesus changes us when He comes to us in Holy Communion.

As part of our 150th Anniversary celebrations, the Redemptorists will hold a Mission in our parish from Saturday 27th June till Friday 3rd July 2026.

This weekend the second collection is for the Clergy Training Fund

The CTF exists to pay for the formation of the future priests and permanent deacons for the Archdiocese of Birmingham.

It costs approximately £200,000 over seven years of formation for one new priest (£25,000 - £30,000 per seminiarian each year). This is a substantial amount of money, but it is essential because it covers seminary fees, living costs, travel and study materials.

Please give generously. No money = no formation = no priests.

Holy Hour for the Dignity of Life - 4.30pm Sunday 19th April

The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales have asked parishes and Catholic communities to hold a Holy Hour as they gather together at Palazzola for the Bishops’ Conference Spring Plenary: ‘to offer this petition to Our Lord for the dignity of life from conception to natural end and to pray that assisted su***de will not become law in our country.’

First Holy Communion Session

Edd introduced the First Holy Communion children to the role of an Altar Server in their session this evening, to help them to be aware of what is happening on the sanctuary during Mass.
