This is a fabulous course introducing our beautiful faith with a view of being able to explain it to other people. It's run by the Archdiocese of Southwark and is being run in Lancaster and Liverpool as well. It is mostly online with just two or three in person days a year. One of our parishioners has been tutoring on this course for years and has seen how faith has come alive for so many people as they are equipped to talk about it to others. Click on this link to find out more.

The Archbishop’s Certificate is the principal training course in the Archdiocese of Southwark whose aim is to equip and support catechists and lay leaders in evangelisation and formation. Applications for 2026-2028 are now open, please see below. Would you like to know more? Come and See! Join our...

During August, our parish One World Group has been supporting CAFOD's campaign for urgent action on the international debt crisis, which is causing terrible suffering for people in many parts of the world.

Over 70 people have already signed CAFOD's petition at St Joseph's. Can you help us reach 100 signatures?

If you're attending Mass at St Joseph's this weekend, please stop a minute to add your support. We all need to help to build a fairer world.

We are facing the most acute global debt crisis in history and it's the world's poorest countries who are the worst affected. Urgent action is needed to stop its devastating effects.

The outreach project of the (former) Malvern Book Co-operative are collecting books to supplement the library at HMP Hewell, a men's prison in Worcestershire.

We would welcome donations of spare books or purchases from charity shops. Suggested genres are adventure, thrillers, sport, and celebrities (avoiding anything with explicit violence or misogyny).

Children's books that fathers can read when their children visit would also be appreciated.

Please place any donations in the box just inside the main entrance. They will be collected on the 6th of September.

Can you help?

As part of the preparations for the 150th anniversary events in October, we are planning an extra special clean and polish of the church between Monday 14th and Saturday 19th September.

We are looking for volunteers who can boost the normal Holy Duster Teams, help move chairs / furniture and generally ‘lend a hand’ where possible.

Any help would be appreciated, even for just an hour or two on one day only.

If you can help, please add your name to the list in the Narthex.

Your donation will provide essential supplies and help families rebuild their lives.
More information on CAFOD website

Your donation to the Venezuela Earthquake Appeal will go directly to our partners who are already responding to the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes that have hit Venezuela.
