In 2022 the next phase of work to create Malton’s seven day a week community hub starts. When completed it will offer a café, 550 seat auditorium, 1877 pipe organ, catering kitchen, quiet room, meeting rooms, offices and hot desks to let. A cello, a violin, and a room built in 1811 to carry sound.

Julian and Jiaxin Lloyd Webber bring Bach, Bows and Arrows to the Wesley Centre on Friday 9 October. In the superb Georgian setting of the restored Wesley Centre in Malton built in 1811, the cello’s ‘sing’ naturally. If you’ve never sat in such wonderful large space whilst a cello is being played, this is the night to do it.

7.30pm, doors and bar from 6.30pm.

Tickets £38 (premium ground floor seats and first two rows of the balcony) and £30 (other parts of the gallery, with restricted views.)

We're excited to launch a couple of events for autumn over the next week or so...
The first is something we've been looking forward to for a while - an evening of folk music with supper 😋🎶 and we really hope you can join us on Friday 11th September here at the Wesley Centre.
Pen and Stu are a modern folk duo who play traditional and original tunes and songs as well as favourite folk covers.

🌟 We've had a fantastic week here at the Wesley Centre, welcoming so many familiar and new faces to Chapel Kitchen. ☕💛

We've also been busy working with a wonderful volunteer to prepare for the launch of our Chatty Café sessions.

Starting Wednesday 5th August at 2.15pm, and continuing every week thereafter, Chatty Café will be a relaxed and friendly space to enjoy a chat, meet new people, and connect with others in the community.
