St Mary's Church Salcott Our 2* Listed church, dedicated to St Mary the Virgin, is in the centre of the village and dates from the 13th century.

Although the Essex earthquake damaged it, happily the flint tower remained intact. The nave was extensively restored and the chancel en The parish of Salcott is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
