My child has a legal right to an education.

He has an EHCP. The law says he should be receiving support and full-time education.

But in reality?

He’s been left without proper education for years.

2/ He has autism and struggles with the school environment.

Not because he doesn’t want to learn — but because his needs aren’t being met.
At times, he’s only been able to manage 1–2 hours a day.

That is not an education.

3/ I’ve done everything I was told to do.

Meetings. Reviews. Emails. Complaints.
Years of asking for help.

And still — no real change.
4/ The system says children like my son are protected.

That they have legal rights.
But those rights mean nothing if no one enforces them.

5/ This isn’t about refusing school.
This is about a child who cannot cope because the support isn’t there.

There is a difference — and it matters.

6/ I am now being forced to take legal action.
Not for anything extra.

Just for the basic right to an education.

This has taken a huge toll.
On him — and on our family.
Watching your child struggle, knowing they want to learn but can’t access it, is heartbreaking.

8/ And I know we are not the only ones.
How many other children are in the same situation right now This needs to change.

Children with SEND deserve more than paperwork and promises.

They deserve an actual education.

I’m tired of fighting all the time. Tired of pretending I’m okay when I’m not. Somewhere along the way, I feel like I’ve lost myself—and I just need time… time to find me again.
This isn’t weakness. It’s exhaustion. It’s what happens when you’ve been holding everything in for too long. So I’m giving myself permission to not have it all together right now, to step back, to breathe, and to slowly reconnect with who I really am.
I don’t need to have all the answers today. I just need space, honesty, and a little bit of patience with myself. Healing isn’t instant—it’s remembering, little by little.

Losing my dad taught me a kind of pain that nothing else compares to. When you’ve felt a loss that deep, it changes how you see everything — including people.

Because of that, I’m not afraid of losing anyone anymore. The only people I truly fear losing are my children. They’re my heart, my purpose, and my reason to keep moving forward.

So if you want to be part of my journey, then so be it — you’re welcome beside me. But if you don’t, that’s okay too. I won’t chase anyone to stay in my life.

Life has already taught me that the people who are meant to walk with you… will.
And the ones who aren’t, will find their own way.

Either way, I’m still moving forward.
For myself. For my children. And for the strength my dad left behind in me. ✨

What Christmas Means to Me as a Spiritual Medium

Christmas, to me, is far more than a date on the calendar or a season wrapped in lights and traditions. As a spiritual medium, Christmas is a thinning of the veil—a sacred pause in the year when love, memory, and spirit seem to draw closer to the physical world.
This season carries an unmistakable energy. It is softer, warmer, and yet profoundly powerful. People often say that Christmas feels different, and I believe that is because it invites us into connection—connection with each other, with ourselves, and with those who no longer walk beside us in the physical sense. For many, Christmas is joyful. For others, it can be tender or bittersweet. But in all of it, there is meaning.
As a medium, I witness how deeply love transcends time and space. Christmas amplifies that truth. It is during this season that many feel the presence of loved ones in spirit most strongly—a familiar song, a scent, a sudden memory that brings both tears and comfort. These moments are not accidents. They are reminders that love does not end, and bonds are not broken by death.
Christmas also speaks to the sacredness of light. In the darkest part of the year, we light candles, decorate trees, and gather around glowing hearths. Spiritually, this mirrors our inner journey. Even in grief, loneliness, or uncertainty, light persists. Spirit reminds us that hope is never extinguished—it simply waits to be acknowledged.
At its core, Christmas is about compassion. It asks us to slow down, to give freely, to forgive more easily, and to open our hearts wider than usual. As a medium, I believe these acts of kindness raise our vibration. They make us more receptive to guidance, more aware of intuition, and more aligned with the unseen world that supports us.
Christmas is also a time of listening. Not just to carols or conversations, but to the quiet voice within. Spirit communicates most clearly when we are still—when we allow ourselves moments of silence amid the noise. In that stillness, messages of reassurance, healing, and love often arrive.
For me, Christmas is a reminder that we are never alone. Whether surrounded by family, missing someone dear, or navigating our own inner struggles, spirit walks with us. Love walks with us. And that love—pure, eternal, and unconditional—is the greatest gift of all.
So as we celebrate this season, may we honor not only the traditions we see, but the sacred connections we feel. May we trust the gentle nudges of spirit, cherish the memories that visit us, and remember that Christmas lives not just in decorations or presents, but in the invisible threads of love that bind us across worlds, across time, and forever.
