Our worship is varied and interesting in style, ranging from specially devised service around themes such as "Journeys" and "Vocation", to set liturgies from Common Worship and the Book of Common Prayer. Our Sunday Holy Communion service is the focus at 10am each week. The first Sunday of each month is an All Age Communion service, while on other Sundays we have a thriving Sunday Club for younger
children and smaller group of Sparklers for 10-15 year olds. Children and others are welcome to receive Holy Communion before confirmation. Baptisms take place monthly during the main communion service. Our choir and musicians enrich our worship and offer a full Choral Evensong each term. We also lead a termly International Taizé service as part of the Sundays at Six programme shared with two other churches. We seek to serve our parish in many ways, offering a venue for community events, and providing a Baby and Toddler Group and monthly teas. We have a programme of Sunday Half Hour services in three residential complexes within the parish. We also promote and host concerts and recitals which attract good audiences. Our aim is to be "In Faith Out There", with a spirit of adventure and risk, sometimes pushing the boundaries, and bringing issues of faith and belief to bear on our daily lives. Many who come find our church a place of comfort, resource and challenge for their lives. We offer a welcome to all who wish to share this journey of faith with us. We are developing a deeper awareness of "social gospel" initiatives and seeking to take more responsibility for our changing world. We aim to become a place of wholeness and healing in our very diverse parish and have strong links with our Church Primary School.
