Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or in the evening, Allah prepares for him a place of hospitality in Paradise every time he goes in the morning or evening.”

(Bukhari & Muslim)

One lesson we learn from this Hadith is that regularly going to the masjid is a great act of worship with a great reward. Every journey we make to the masjid for prayer and worship is valued by Allah, and He promises to prepare hospitality for us in Paradise. This should encourage us to stay connected to the masjid and make attending it a regular part of our lives.

🤲 Dua at the Conclusion of Our Dhikr Gathering

Alhamdulillah, a beautiful and blessed conclusion to our Dhikr Gathering, with Imam Shuaib Mahmood and Shaykh Muhammad Azram.

May Allah ﷻ accept our Dhikr, Duas and gatherings, forgive our shortcomings, strengthen our connection with Him and His Beloved Messenger ﷺ, and shower His mercy and blessings upon our families and community.

JazakumAllahu Khayran to everyone who attended and contributed to a beautiful evening of remembrance. ❤️

🌙 Annual Mehfil-e-Milad ﷺ at Maidenhead Mosque 🌙

Alhamdulillah, a beautiful and blessed gathering in remembrance and celebration of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The Mehfil featured an inspiring English speech by Shaykh Owais (Harrow), an enlightening Urdu speech by Allama Peer Syed Asad Mahmood Kazmi Al-Musvi (Khateeb kharri Sharif, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan), and a beautiful reminders by our very own Imam Shuaib Mahmood.

A gathering filled with love, remembrance, reflection and praise for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. May Allah accept this blessed gathering and increase us all in love for the Prophet ﷺ.

Inter Masajid Football Tournament 2026

A fantastic all-round performance from Maidenhead Mosque! ⚽🏆

All four teams - U9s, U11s, U13s and U15s - successfully made it through the qualifying rounds and into the semi-finals. A brilliant achievement for everyone involved!

U9s: Gave a great account of themselves and were unlucky to bow out on penalties after giving the eventual winners a real challenge.

U11s: Battled their way to the final but unfortunately ran out of steam, losing 2-0. A fantastic effort to reach the final!

U13s: Unbeaten throughout the tournament and having conceded just one goal, they went into the final as favourites and they certainly delivered! A comfortable 3-0 victory saw them crowned champions! 🏆

U15s: Also went unbeaten on their route to the final, where they faced a very strong Langley side. Maidenhead scored early in the first half and then produced a solid defensive display to see out the match and secure a fantastic 1-0 win! 🏆

Two champions, one runners-up spot, and four teams reaching the semi-finals - an incredible day for Maidenhead Mosque!

A huge well done to all the boys for their hard work, effort and teamwork. You did us proud! 👏⚽

THE FINAL PASSAGE | FUNERAL RITES WORKSHOP

Alhamdulillah, yesterday we held our Funeral Rites Workshop at Maidenhead Mosque, providing brothers with practical guidance and essential knowledge on fulfilling our final duties towards a fellow Muslim.

The workshop covered the key stages of Islamic funeral rites, including preparing the deceased, performing the Ghusl, shrouding (Kafan), Janazah and burial, alongside important reminders about the dignity, respect and care that must be shown throughout the process.

The practical demonstrations gave attendees an opportunity to see first-hand how these responsibilities should be carried out correctly and to ask questions in a supportive environment.

A sincere JazakAllahu Khayran to our speakers, volunteers and the entire team who helped organise and deliver the workshop, and to everyone who attended and took the opportunity to learn this important communal obligation (Fard Kifayah).

May Allah ﷻ accept the efforts of everyone involved, allow us to benefit from what we have learnt, and grant us all a good ending with Iman. Ameen. 🤲
