Clonard Solemn Novena 2026 returns from 17th –25th June, and this year we reflect on our baptismal call to be “Called and Sent.”

With six sessions daily and thousands expected to attend, we invite you to join us in person or online at clonard.com.

ORDINATION | DIOCESE OF DERRY

Today we pray for Reverend Stephen Baxter

Stephen will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Donal McKeown at 3:00pm today in St Columb's Church, Waterside.

Please remember Stephen, his family, friends and all gathered for this joyful occasion in your prayers.

May the Lord of the harvest bless Stephen in his priestly ministry among us.

Today is the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a Feast that celebrates the Heart of Christ that burns with love and mercy.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, make our hearts like unto thine.

On this Feast of the Sacred Heart we are encouraged to pray for all of our priests.

Please offer a special prayer today for Bishop McKeown, Father Eamonn and all of the priests of our Diocese who serve us with great love and devotion.

ORDINATION | DIOCESE OF DERRY

Please pray for Reverend Stephen Baxter

On Sunday, 14 June, Reverend Stephen Baxter, a native of Waterside Parish, will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Donal McKeown for service in the Diocese of Derry.

Stephen's ordination will take place at 3:00pm in St Columb's Church, Waterside.

We give thanks to God for Stephen's generous response to the Lord's call and ask you to remember him in your prayers over these coming days.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few." (Luke 10:2)

May the Lord bless Stephen in his ministry among us.
