The Nazarene Theological College is an affiliated institution of The University of Manchester offering degrees up to PhD. Each local congregation of the Church of the Nazarene is a faith community, ready to greet you in Jesus' name. There you will discover opportunities not only to encounter Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, but to grow as a follower of Christ. Local churches offer ministry opportunities for serving others. The mission is "to respond to the Great Commission of Christ to ‘go and make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19)

Mrs Elizabeth (Beth) Frazer

Frazer (née Marshall) – September 4th 2026, peacefully at Causeway Coast Hospital, Elizabeth (Beth), dearly loved Wife of the late Robert A. (Bertie) Frazer, formerly of Parkmore, Magherafelt. Much loved Mother of Michael, Richard, Stephen and Rosemary, loving Mother-in-Law of Charlotte and Rosemary, much adored Grandmother of Andrew, Loren, Daniel, David, Holly and Katie and her 8 Great-Grandchildren and dearest Sister of David and the late Jean. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Tuesday evening (September 8th) from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Beth's Life will take place in D. Watters Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9th at 12 noon, followed by burial in Polepatrick Cemetery, Magherafelt (at 1:00pm approx.). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cancer Research, can be made online or payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore, Magherafelt, BT45 5PP. “With Christ, which is far better”

HOPE FOR EVERYONE | 11th–16th October 🙌

We’re really excited to invite you to a special week at Desertmartin Church of the Nazarene this October.

Hope for Everyone is exactly what it says, a week for everyone. Whether church has always been part of your life, you haven’t been in years, or you’ve never really considered faith before, you’ll be genuinely welcome.

Across the week, Rev Gordon Thomson will be sharing a simple message of the hope and new life that can be found in Jesus, alongside real stories from real people.

This Wednesday evening we’ll also be finishing our short series through the book of Haggai, before spending time together seeking God, praying for one another, and bringing the life and mission of our church before Him.

A new season for our Sunday evenings 🙌

This Sunday at 6pm we’re beginning an exciting new season at Desertmartin Nazarene, with special Sunday evening gatherings planned for the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

And we’re kicking things off with OUR CHURCH, OUR MISSION.

We’ll hear from Becky & Mandy about what God is doing through our kids and youth work, while Craig will share about his recent mission trip to Spain. 🇪🇸

It’ll be a relaxed evening of stories, worship, prayer and celebrating what God is doing, both here in our own community and further afield.
