🍹🎶 Pimms & Hymns – This Sunday! 🎶🍹

The weather may not be quite as sunny as we'd hoped, but don't worry – Pimms & Hymns is still going ahead!

We'll simply move into the church, where there will still be plenty of Pimms, good company, and a wonderful afternoon of singing some well-loved hymns together.

Tickets will be available on the day, but it really helps us plan (and know how much Pimms to buy!) if you can get yours in advance.

You can buy tickets from Christine or by scanning the QR code.

We'd love to see you there for an afternoon of fellowship, singing, and a glass of Pimms – whatever the weather!

Trinity Sunday is the day we celebrate the mystery and wonder of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three persons, yet one God - bound together in perfect love.

The Trinity reminds us that relationship is at the very heart of God, and that we are invited into that love, grace, and fellowship too.

A short prayer for Trinity Sunday:

Holy God,

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
draw us deeper into your love.

Help us to live in peace with one another,
to reflect your goodness in the world,
and to trust in your presence with us always.

Amen.

Pentecost is often called the birthday of the Church. It’s the day when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples like wind and fire, filling them with courage, joy, and boldness to share the good news of Jesus with the world.

People from many different nations heard the message in their own language - a reminder that God’s love is for everyone.

A short prayer for Pentecost:

Holy Spirit,

come and fill our hearts anew.

Give us courage when we are afraid,

hope when we are weary,

and joy in sharing your love with others.

Come, Holy Spirit, come.

Amen.
