“A Celebration of Recovery,” will be held at Christ Church Eaton on Sunday 13th September at 4pm and is for anyone whose life has been touched by addiction and, in particular, for those who have battled addiction and are now walking the path of recovery. It is an opportunity to recognise the courage it takes to seek change, to acknowledge the challenges that have been overcome, and to celebrate the hope and new beginnings that recovery can bring.
The service will provide a supportive and inclusive space for those in recovery, as well as friends, family members and anyone who would like to stand alongside them. Whether recovery is a long-established journey or a more recent one, everyone is warmly invited.
Following the service, there will be refreshments in the Parish Hall, providing an opportunity for people to meet, share fellowship and continue the celebration together.

💙 THANK YOU FROM MARTON! 💙

What an incredible couple of weekends it’s been!

A huge thank you to everyone who:
💙 Sponsored
💚 Volunteered
🧡 Donated
❤️ Attended

Your generosity, hard work and support made both the Marton Drinks Festival and the Marton Wakes Fete such a fantastic success. Whether you helped organise, set up, packed away, ran a stall, entertained the crowds, donated prizes, sponsored the events or simply came along and enjoyed the day, you all played a part.

We are delighted to announce that we took around £10,500 at the Marton Wakes Fete, bringing the total taken across both weekends to around £13,200! 🎉

These are approximate figures, with the final totals still being checked and a few outstanding donations and costs still to be accounted for. We’ll share the official figures as soon as they’re confirmed.

Every pound taken will go towards the ongoing renovation of St James & St Paul Church, Marton, helping us meet the ever-rising cost of essential repairs and ensuring this much-loved historic church can continue to serve our community for generations to come.

From everyone involved in organising the events… thank you for your continued support. We couldn’t do it without you, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next year! ❤️
