Today at Hope house kids club we looked at how through Ruth's hard work and care for her mother in law things changed. Boaz noticed and he became a 'redeemer' a relative who helped, rescued and brought good back into the lives of Ruth and her mother-in-law.

We had a go at 'gleaning' like Ruth did, but we did ours as a race. We thought about how different it must have been for both Ruth and Naomi moving to different countries and took a brief look at where we live.
We also looked at different grains such as barley and corn etc. and we did charades of ways that people help us.
We finished by using grain 'corn' to make popcorn.

Well done to everyone at Glow-worms baby and toddler group, who joined in with our sponsored toddle for Barnardo's today
All the children and babies received a medal and sticker for taking part, and we treated ourselves to an ice cream 🍦as part of our toddle

And in a flash it was the weekend again 😂 Come and join us on Sunday, Deb & Jim will be leading our worship, Judy will be leading the Hope House Kids and Tom will be sharing on Revival in Acts. We have drinks from 10.00am, Hope House kids activities begin at 10.15am and the service starts at 10.30am. While its always best to be with us in person, for those who cannot, the service will be broadcast 'Live' to our social media channels. Come and join us, you will be very welcome. 😊
