Children's Church

We are delighted to announce that we have a volunteer who has come forward to run Children's Church.

We are waiting for the necessary paperwork to be completed and then we will let you all know
when it is starting.

We are still looking for a leader or leaders to run our popular Children’s Church. This could be done by one person or shared on a rota basis. Children’s church meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 10.15am in the Parsih Rooms before heading over to church around 11ish. If you feel this is something you would like to get involved with please contact Father Glen on 01253 728358

Everyone at St Annes Parish Church and our wonderful families who attend Children’s Chruch would like to say a massive thank you to Nicola for her hard work over the past 2 and a half years. She has run some excellent sessions and we are extremely grateful. We wish her all the luck in her new job. Please keep a look out for updates on the page as we move forward and find a replacement.
Nicola has sent us this lovely message:
“Thank you for all support over the past two and a half years that I have led Children’s Church, it has been great getting to know all of the families and I wish you all well. I’m stepping up to Assistant Headteacher at a new school from January and can therefore no longer commit to running Children’s Church too. I will see you all at the Crib Service.”

Thank you to everyone who attended Children’s Church today in what was our last session of 2021. We learnt about the Nativity story and made stained glass windows of the Nativity scene.x

We had a wonderful time at children’s church this week. We made some beautiful Christmas tree decorations for the Christmas tree festival taking place in church.x

We had a lovely Remembrance Sunday session at Children’s Church. The children made poppies and poppy wreaths. Join us again in 2 weeks time for our next session.
