This is a rural parish that seeks to serve a growing community. Our congregation is warm, welcoming and very friendly and will ensure that you are at ease during our services. Children are very welcome and are catered for especially at the main service on the second and fourth Sunday during which we have 'Dragon's Den' a special area for children where they can both learn and enjoy themselves with
our friendly team. We have started anl All Age Service at 9.30 on the first Sunday of every month. The service, lasting about half an hour and followed by tea and cakes is proving more and more popular for young families with children. Our magnificent choir support and enhance our Sunday worship. They are ready to meet requests to sing at weddings and funerals. We are also fortunate in having a peal of six bells, rung by a team of skilled and dedicated ringers, who, with the peeling of the bells, call and greet churgoers to our principal services. They also ring for weddings and funerals by arrangement. Many know of our church through the legend of the Knuckerhole Dragon, details of which become evident on visiting. Briefly, a dragon reputedly roamed the local countryside destroying and devouring crops, flocks and even villagers. Legend has it that the dragon was slain by a brave young man who was to meet his own death shortly afterwards and as a direct consequence of his bravery. Come, visit and see the stained glass window portraying the story. There is a lovely illuminated window which tells the story.
