I am sorry to share the very sad and shocking news that Jane Nicholson has died.
Jane worked as the church administrator here in Sway working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She was unwell this week and not at work and we are very shocked and saddened to learn of her unexpected death.
Above all Jane loved the Lord deeply and had a gift of sharing her faith in a down to earth way that helped others meet with Jesus. She was so looking forward to being licenced as a lay reader in Wi******er Cathedral next Saturday.
Jesus has called her home and we were not expecting it but we know she is safe in his everlasting arms. and rises in glory.
This morning we met to give thanks for the Harvest and to thank God for his goodness through Jane’s life and her faith and witness.

The church remains open during daylight hours for quiet reflection and there is a gathering at 3pm this afternoon (Sunday) to pray, share memories of Jane and to give thanks. Everyone is welcome. We will forward other arrangements, likely to be at St Mark’s Pennington, in due course.
A prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We are so sad and pray for Jane’s daughter Laura, her two grandchildren and her brother James. We pray for Jane’s colleagues at Waitrose and the congregation of her home church in Pennington. We pray for one another in shared grief. We thank you Lord for your promise of hope in Jesus- the hope that Jane knew, shared with others and lived out
“Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life . The one who believes in me will live , even though they die. “ John 11: 2
In the name of Jesus and with love at this sad time. Please do get in touch if you would like prayer or to talk to someone following this sad news.
