😍 It's an absolute pleasure to be able to have so many weddings in our wonderful church, especially those involving RNLI Lyme Regis - we believe that the church offers more than just a place for a ceremony, but a lifelong commitment to supporting all those who love each other.

Join us at St Michael's Parish Church on Ascension Day Thursday 14th May - 6pm, to listen to our local Organist Alex Davies play L'Ascension by Olivier Messiaen.
Ascension Day is Christian holiday marking the bodily ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. Always on a Thursday it commemorates the final day Jesus appeared to his disciples following his resurrection.

Jesus describes himself as the Good Shepherd — someone who knows each of his sheep by name and calls them gently.

In a busy, noisy world, that’s a powerful thought:
that we are known, recognised, and cared for.
