A blessed Holy Saturday to you all.

As we dwell in this uncomfortable space between the empty cross and the empty tomb, the ancient belief of the Church is that in the midst of his death, Christ descended to Hell to reclaim the souls of the lost for God.

It is known as the Harrowing of Hell, and although not so commonly known now, is to me an inspiring working out of Christ's activity in defeating sin, death, and Hell.

A friend shared the following poem, which offers hope for the redemption of Judas and all who, at some point, may feel they have betrayed God and been unworthy of his love.

The Lord hates nothing that he has made.

We don't really talk about baby loss enough. If this is important for you, I hope it is helpful.
