Many congratulations to our local councillor Cllr Tahmina Saleem on her election as new leader of Luton Borough council. Cllr Saleem has been a great friend and colleague to us as we support our local community, and consistently shows up for the most vulnerable in our neighbourhoods.

Lovely to have year 1 from Denbigh Primary School with us at St Andrew's today for an RE visit. We talked about our shared practices of fasting at this time of year, reflected on their learning about religion and the natural world, & planted some wildflower seeds in the church garden. Father Luke was very touched by their gift of an Easter Egg, and has locked it in the safe to avoid temptation!

This Sunday we celebrate our church’s dedication festival, some 93 years since the current building was consecrated and with a history stretching back to an old hut on Crawley Road in 1887. Join us for a special Eucharist to celebrate the past, present and future of St Andrew’s Church. 10am on Sunday 26th October.
