This is the night when Christ broke the prison-bars of death and rose victorious from the underworld.

What a blessed and joy-filled Easter Vigil as we gathered in the light of the Risen Christ, proclaiming with the whole Church: Alleluia! He is truly risen! ✨🕯️

We give thanks to God for all those who entered into the fullness of the Catholic Church this holy night through Baptism, Reception, and Confirmation. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen you as you walk faithfully with Christ and His Church.

Please keep our newly initiated brothers and sisters in your prayers as they begin this beautiful new chapter of faith.

Christ is risen! Alleluia! 🙏🏻✝️

In solemn silence we venerated the Cross and meditated on the Passion of the Lord, recalling the depth of His sacrifice for our salvation. “We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your holy Cross you have redeemed the world.”

Highlights from our Maundy Thursday liturgy ✝️
In solemn reverence we entered into the mystery of the Lord’s Supper, the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood, and His humble service. ‘Do this in memory of me.’

A Christmas Message from Fr. Brendan

I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas!

Today is an opportunity to give thanks for the incredible gift of the Christ Child born in a manger in Bethlehem. A child who was born for us so that we might have eternal life. A child who was born for us so that we may always know the closeness of God in our lives!

Today is also an opportunity for me to give thanks to God for the incredible gift of being your parish priest. It is truly a joy to be able to serve here at Our Lady’s and be surrounded by so many saints - in - training who give so generously of their time and gifts to build up the parish.

For many of our friends and family, and indeed for much of the culture around us, Christmas will finish after the 25th of December. For us, however, Christmas is only beginning! The Church, in order to celebrate this incredible moment, gives us eight days, an octave of celebrations. The Christmas season continues until well into the New Year! So let us continue to celebrate!

May the Christ Child bless each and every one of us, now and always!✨
