Ludlow Methodist Church

Ludlow Methodist Church Ludlow Methodist Church is a friendly and welcoming church. Sunday Services are at 10.30am and at 6.30pm. Coffee and tea are served after morning worship.

We aim to provide a place where people can learn about and meet God in welcoming, friendly and comfortable surroundings. We are situated in the center of the beautiful medieval town of Ludlow in Shropshire, a center of tourism as well as a lovely place to live. Junior Church also meet at 10.30am, leaving for their classes early in the service. Messy Church is for families who might want to meet Je

sus, belong to a local church and bring up their children as Christians but can't cope with traditional Sunday morning church services. Our Messy Church is usually on the afternoon of the 3rd Thursday of each month. With our fellow Christians in and around Ludlow CTAL (Churches Together Around Ludlow), and on a broader scale CTIS (Churches Together In Shropshire) we aim to serve the community in all we do. Our cafe, 'Wesleys' is open six days a week from 10.00 am. Our accommodation is wheelchair friendly and all rooms are available for hire by the community.

🏁 What a weekend!

Thank you to Ferdinand Habsburg for once again racing for Mary's Meals at the incredible 24 Hours of Le Mans πŸ’™πŸŽοΈ

We’re so grateful for everyone who followed along, supported his efforts and helped raise awareness for children who rely on school meals every day 🌍

There's still time to make a last-minute donation if you would like to here: https://bit.ly/4ekZIiA

Together, we can continue making a difference.

A reflection for today:
"Let me remind you that this is God's universe, and He is doing things His way. You may think you have a better way, but you don't have a universe to rule."

Pray with us today.

God of the earth, the sea and the sky, As we look around us we see change and uncertainty:

The effects of the changing seasons on the work of our farmers, and the security of homes and businesses. The power of the sea on our coastline and the catch of fishing boats. The flightpaths of military aircraft pointing towards global political uncertainty. In our churches and communities too, there is change and uncertainly.

May we know your steadfast love, and that in all times and all places you are there. In the name of Christ, Amen.

Angy Long, District Chair, Lincolnshire District
