The Church of England's national online service next Sunday, 31 May, comes from the Athelstan Pilgrim Way, as part of this summer's Church of England initiative:: Pilgrim Places, Holy Lives: A Gospel Journey with the Early English Saints https://www.churchofengland.org/faith-life/pilgrim-places-holy-lives . Eacn part of the service comes from a different location along the pilgrimage route.
Last Sunday's service on 24 May was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury from Lambeth Palace, so no pressure!
The service will be streamed online at 9am on Sunday, but can also be viewed any time after that at https://www.churchofengland.org/prayer-and-worship/church-online

The Diocesan Pilgrimage 2026 is coming near to our area.

We have some keen walkers, cyclists, horse riders amongst us so do consider joining in. (Virtual participation is also possible)

Details of exact route are being fine tuned but here is some information:

17th May day 3 North Wilts and Chippenham Deaneries - Malmesbury to Chippenham

Route will shortly be published in full, but we start from Malmesbury Abbey and will make our way through the North Wiltshire countryside passing through a number of village parishes and finishing our walk in Chippenham where we will overnight at St Paul's Church
