Your wardens were sworn in for another year and supported by our vicar Rev Ben Marston.

In a special service last night, with others from across the Diocese of Blackburn our re-elected church wardens for St Barnabas and St Paul's Hoddlesden were sworn in.

We are incredibly grateful for Tom, Sarah and Diane and all they do to support the mission and ministry of our churches.

Congratulations to the winners of the Hoddlesden 2026 scarecrow festival. I would just like to thank Gemma & Dan Watson and the kids for their help in making the St Paul's Hoddlesden Church scarecrow Friar Tuck this year. If anyone would like to help make next years scarecrow please let me know. 😃

There is no service at St Paul’s this Sunday 17th May because we have a joint service followed by our APCM at St Barnabas from 11am. This does NOT mean you get a week off, it means you get a lie in!😃

We can't wait to see you at church this Sunday at 11am!

It's a special joint service with St Paul's Hoddlesden followed by our annual meeting. This is an opportunity to give thanks for all that God is doing in our churches - so do join us if you can.

You can also worship with us on Monday at 7pm at the Reach Hoddlesden (next to the Churchyard).

It’s back… and this year we’re bringing a bit of Disney magic to our village 🏰🌟

📅 Friday 8th May – Thursday 14th May
From school finish on the Friday right through to Thursday evening, our village will be full of Disney-themed scarecrows for you to find 👀

Grab a map, follow the trail, and vote for your favourite… perfect for families, a walk out, or just an excuse to get some fresh air 🚶‍♂️
