Join us on Saturday, 26th September from 11 AM for a Harvest Coffee morning!
What's in store:
🍁A hot drink and slice of cake for £3.50
🍁Children's craft activities
🍁Some extra-special seasonal drinks: Pumpkin spice coffee, Toffee apple hot chocolate and Blackberry fizz

We're collecting non perishable meals for the Louth Food Bank and perishable items for Meals On Wheels.

The Church will also be open to visitors from 12 PM, if you would like to come in and view some of our stunning stained-glass windows and see what the inside of a Catholic church looks like.

Stopping at Saltfleetby All Saints on the road to Mablethorpe, to see one of our outstanding medieval churches, although seemingly in a state of some neglect. The leaning tower, what looks like an original roof, and screens (although scrubbed by protestant wrath).

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." These words of Christ come to life in the witness of Saint Maximillian Kolbe who chose to give up his life 85 years ago today at Auschwitz, in place of another prisoner with a family to return to.

A Polish Franciscan friar, missionary and priest, Saint Maximillian became a beacon of light - Christ's light - in the darkness of Auschwitz. Always a strong advocate of the Gospel, he continued to minister to the other prisoners at the concentration camp, and was often badly beaten and chastised for it.

May Saint Maximillian remind us that even in the midst of immense suffering and injustice, it is possible to choose love. For Love overcomes fear and hatred, as Christ overcame Death.

Saint Maximillian Kolbe, pray for us that we may learn to love courageously and live our faith boldly.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 🍓🍰Strawberry Summer Afternoon Tea 🍓🍰! It was really lovely to see you all there. The food was delicious - thank you to the organisers of the event for all the hard work they put in to make the day an enjoyable one. All proceeds from the event will go to the Building Maintenance Fund. Until next time! :)

Tickets to our 🍓Strawberry Summer Afternoon Tea 🍓 have sold out!

But, not to worry! You can still drop by on the day to browse our stalls:

- plants 🪴,
- second-hand books 📚,
- pre-loved clothes (£2 each!) 👗👠
- & other bits and bobs for sale on Saturday from 10 AM onwards!
Or, just stop for a cup of tea and a chat ☕️ :)
