Our Church quiz night is fast approaching - 5:45pm on Saturday at De Lisle College. Fish and chips will be provided and there will be an opportunity to hear a bit about Jesus and what we believe as Christians. Come prepared with a quiz team or join one on the evening - we hope to see you there!

It was a good time at the annual church BBQ yesterday, in spite of the horrific weather! It was great to welcome a few guests and see some old faces, as well as taking time to pray for our students, some of whom are moving on to new, exciting things - we can't wait to see where God will take them!

On this day, we remember the fulfillment of many promises - the second person of the Trinity, taking on human flesh, and coming to dwell amongst us. We remember the peace and joy that this can bring to our weary souls - that Jesus stepped in to save us from the jaws of our sin and death. May you have a blessed Christmas time as you remember who Jesus is and what he came to do.
