We are a relational network that connects, inspires, and equips churches to make spirit-filled disciples and see kingdom transformation in creative and innovative ways across geography and generations. Our family of churches is built around four Core Values: Relational, Missional, Charismatic and Kingdom-Orientated. We are also committed to the full inclusion of women in every aspect of leadership

and ministry, to the unity of the church across denominations and streams and to a creative and pioneering spirit of adventure. In the UK, we are seeking to develop strong resource churches that are able to serve other churches as they, in turn, serve their communities, towns and cities. Our aim is that every Pioneer church is connected to a resource church and every resource church is connected to a region. Each region has a Regional Leader (or leadership couple) and much of what we do is outworked through the relationships that are built up between these Regional Leaders and the leaders of churches. This regional strategy is served and underpinned by the work of a national UK Core Team and a number of national conferences, gatherings and training events. There are also several other Pioneer networks in various nations of the world. Whilst each network is autonomous, we share a commitment to the same core values and distinctives.

Els leads Open Heaven’s Young Adults gathering based in Loughborough.

Pioneer Pathway is a leadership programme which grows and releases you. It’s for those who see church leadership as their primary life-work and for those who will outwork that calling to lead church whilst in other employment.

You can either do the full programme or complete standalone modules. It starts again on the 8th September and we’d love for you to consider applying.

Wildfires 2026 was special.

Tickets for Wildfires 2027 are out now. With an increased capacity for youth and adults, do make sure to sign up now to not miss out on your space. There were a large number of people on the waiting list this year and it’s highly likely that Wildfires 2027 will sell out again.

Serving in a team is an amazing way to meet new people and save on your ticket. Volunteers are one of the main ways the festival can happen and we are always greatful for those who have used their time to help and serve those who are attending. For more info, sign up on the Wildfires website.

Pioneer church leader being installed as an Ecumenical Canon this weekend

We are delighted to announce that Paul Woodman, Church Leader at City Life Church in Southampton, and Fr Mark Hogan, Parish Priest at St Peter and the Wi******er Martyrs and Episcopal Vicar for Parish Mission Development, have been appointed Ecumenical Canons by the Bishop of Wi******er. They will be installed on:

6th June at Evensong (5.30pm), followed by a reception.
