*UNDERSTANDING IS IMPORTANT*

In Proverbs 4:7, the Bible says, *_“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”_* It points attention to wisdom as the most important thing that you should go for, not money, not friends, but wisdom. Then it says in the concluding part, *_“…with all thy getting get understanding.”_* And that’s what I want to emphasize: understanding!
Understanding is important. In verse 8, referring to understanding, it says, *_“Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.”_* So, do you want promotion? Then you need to exalt understanding, and she shall promote you and bring you to honour. The 9th verse is also beautiful and further refers to what understanding will do for you: *_“She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.”_* Understanding will crown you with glory. Hallelujah!
Even the Lord Jesus taught on how important understanding is when He told and explained the parable of the sower in Luke 8:5-15 (study the entire reference). In verse 12, He explained that as the sower sowed his seed (the seed is the Word of God), those that fell on the wayside *_“…are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts….”_*
But Matthew gave us a better insight into what really happened to such individuals; the reason the devil was able to steal the Word from their hearts is because they lacked understanding: *_“Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side”_* (Matthew 13:18-19).
See how terrible it is not to understand the Word of God? Even Wisdom extolled understanding; read what Wisdom says in Proverbs 8:14, *_“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength."_* Here, Wisdom is talking and says, “I am understanding.” Amazing!
Anchor your life on the Word of God—the wisdom of God—and give attention to understanding. Christ is in you; He’s your wisdom. Therefore, you have an understanding heart and mind. The Bible says it is given unto you to understand the Word of God, the mysteries of the Kingdom. Therefore, every so often, declare, *“I’m filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom, and spiritual understanding.”* Hallelujah!

_I am filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. The understanding of the Word elevates, promotes and brings me honour; it crowns me with glory, and with it, I live triumphantly, in Jesus' Name. Amen._

I refuse to let sickness abide in God's temple. I am alive! When people see me, they glorify God. I am living the life of victory and dominion that Jesus purchased for me through His vicarious death, burial, and resurrection. Hallelujah!
*I Am Alive Unto God-Victory Is Sure!*
* 23RD JUNE.*
I affirm that Christ is alive in me—in every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, and every cell of my blood. I’m living the supernatural life, naturally, because Christ is in me. I’m strengthened with the strength of God, and with joy, I draw water from the wells of salvation, because the joy of the Lord is my strength. My life is improved and upgraded by the power of God’s Word. The Spirit of God has granted me divine insight into the Father’s perfect will in all things. I have an unction from the Holy One! That anointing is working in my body, finances, career, family, and all that concerns me.
The anointing of God’s Spirit sets me apart for greatness, causing me to spread and make progress on every side. Hallelujah! I have an understanding heart; for the eyes of my understanding have been enlightened to know the hope of God’s calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. I prosper and excel in all things as I meditate on the Word, and act on it. I win always, because Christ has been made unto me wisdom, and that wisdom which is my unparalleled advantage.
I am powered by the Spirit of God; therefore, when men are cast down, I am lifted! I am the seed of Abraham; I am imbued with wisdom from above to affect lives positively all over the world. I am growing stronger by the day, like a cedar in Lebanon, and flourishing like the palm tree! Everywhere I go, I express the virtues and excellence of the Spirit, as God’s Word finds vent through me. Hallelujah! My mind is anointed to bring forth innovations, ideas, inventions, and solutions to bless the world. I am supernaturally enabled to implement God-given ideas to make the world a better place. Glory to God!
