Today, on the final day of Pitru Paksh (Shrāddh), when Hindus remember and honour departed loved ones, devotees at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Loughborough paused in prayer and reflection to honour the countless lives lost in the service of Sanatan Hindu Dharma.

We remembered those who upheld righteousness, protected the innocent, and stood for peace and justice, while reaffirming our own commitment to living by the timeless Hindu values of dharma (righteousness), sevā (service), and samvāditā (harmony).

Let us remember. Let us serve. Let us unite.

Bhajan Sandhya with Jaydeep Swadia and Group

Devotees at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Loughborough, gathered to witness the musical maestro Shri Jaydeep Swadia and his wonderfully talented team in a truly uplifting evening of Bhajan Sandhya.

Swamis from Neasden temple were also present, with Pujya Gurukirtan Swami singing some bhajans too.

It was a truly a divine and electric atmosphere with everyone in attendance leaving with a true sense of joy.

This evening, devotees gathered at BAPS Loughborough Mandir to join in a special smruti sabha in remembrance of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Pujya Yagnatilakdas Swami enlightened the audience with a captivating talk about the virtues of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, focusing on the importance of bhakti in one’s life.

🙏🏼 On Day 3, the the murti pratishtha vidhi was held in the presence of swamis and hundreds of devotees. Throughout the day, many more attended for darshan. The three-day celebrations concluded with evening arti and sabha in the presence of swamis.

🎉 Day 2 of the Loughborough Mandir Mahotsav was celebrated with a shobha yatra, where young and old alike took part in a grand procession.

🎉 We look forward to Day 2, as we celebrate with bhakti and samp, the Shobha Yatra this morning.

🛕✨ Exactly 1 month to go...
The countdown has begun!

🌸 In just 30 days, our mandir will reopen, renewed from within — lovingly refurbished through bhakti and seva, all offered at the lotus feet of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and our Guru Parampara.

⏳ We now prepare our hearts and our home for the Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav — a once-in-a-lifetime moment when the presence of the divine will once again be ritually invoked, and the mandir will resound with joy, devotion, and unity. 🪔

Let us cherish and join in these final weeks of preparation. This is as a time for us all to reflect, serve, and ready ourselves — not just for darshan, but for our milan with Maharaj and Swami once again. 💛🙏🏼💫

Yesterday marked a deeply emotional and historic moment for our Loughborough Mandir. After 24 years of continuous seva, we witnessed the Utthāpan Vidhi of our beloved murtis.

As we now temporarily close the mandir for refurbishment, devotees were urged to reflect with mahima, prapti no vichar, and gratitude.

‼️ Please note: There will be no sabha or events next weekend. All updates — including new sabha location & timings, mandir refurbishment progress, and upcoming seva/volunteering opportunities — will be on the Telegram channel.

We look forward to serving together again and welcoming you all when our newly refurbished mandir reopens — brighter and more inspiring than ever.
