Come to our special coffee morning and cake stall on Saturday, May 9 at our church for Christian Aid.
Cakes, books, and jigsaws will be on sale.
The coffee morning will be from 10 to 12.  Come for a friendly welcome. 
Find us opposite the Village Hall.

Christian Aid works to end poverty wherever it is suffered in the world by people of all faiths and none.

Our services for the next month will be:

January 25. There will be a United Service for the week of prayer for Christian Unity. The speaker will be Rev Peter Fox. He was the Bishop for Papua New Guinea and he will be speaking about his experiences there.
Peter Fox is believed to be the only Bishop who has been a member of the Magic Circle.
The service will be at 3pm. Everyone welcome. Tea and coffee served afterwards.
There will not be a morning service on that day.

February 1 Rev Nina Austin. Holy communion

February 8 We will be joining our friends at Sutton Bonington Methodist Church for a joint service. There won’t be a service in our building.

February 15 Service led by Mrs. Karen Wormald.

February 22 Circuit Service at Trinity Methodist Church, Loughborough at 10:45 am. There won’t be a service in our building.

Our services over Christmas and New Year are:

Sunday December 21. Brownie Nativity Play at 10.30

Wednesday December 24. Christmas Eve led by Rev Nina Austin at 9.15pm. This is the same time as midnight in Bethlehem.

Thursday December 25 Christmas Day. Service at Christchurch Methodist Church, Field St, Shepshed led by Rev Martin Swan at 10.30

Sunday December 28. Section services at either Christchurch Methodist Church led by Rev Karen Beecham at 10.30 or at Hoby Methodist Church led by Mrs Janet Norburn

Sunday January 4 Local Arrangement at our church at East Leake at 10.30.

It’s part of being an eco-church. Saves money too.
