🎉 What a glorious 5th Anniversary Celebration Service we had at Hope Connect Church! 🎉

To God alone be all the glory for five years of His faithfulness, grace, and goodness towards us.

We were blessed with an atmosphere of amazing worship, heartfelt thanksgiving, fervent prayers, and a timely Word from the Lord delivered by our father in the Lord, Bishop Dr Jonathan Alao.

📖 Theme: "A Great Door"
1 Corinthians 16:9

👉 Every great door comes with companions and partnerships ordained by God.

👉 Paul emphasized the opposition he faced because the significance of a door is often revealed by the resistance surrounding it.

👉 Challenges are often the precursors to breakthroughs.

👉 If you set your heart towards God's purpose, He is able to bring it to pass.

👉 A great door is an opportunity for effective service and kingdom impact.

📖 "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." - 1 Corinthians 16:9

As we reflect on five incredible years, we declare that the God who has brought us this far will lead us into even greater doors of influence, impact, growth, and transformation.

We love Sundays.

A time of heartfelt worship, wonderful fellowship, conversations over tea and coffee, and most importantly, a time when God sends His Word to us.

Today, we were blessed by a powerful message from our Lead Pastor titled ”Created for Good Works” from Ephesians 2:8-10.

We were reminded that we are saved by grace through faith - not by our own works, but by the gift of God. As believers, we are God’s workmanship (poema) - His masterpiece, His finest expression of creativity. Our experiences do not define us; God’s Word does.

Some key takeaways from today’s message:

👉 We are God’s workmanship, carefully crafted and uniquely designed by Him.

👉 We are created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

👉 Good works are the natural outflow of genuine salvation.

👉 Good works include loving others, serving selflessly, encouraging people, and showing grace.

👉 Good works are not limited to traditional church duties—they include every act of stewardship, kindness, creativity, charity, and service that glorifies God and benefits others.

👉 God’s kindness leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and a transformed life should produce transformed actions.

What a blessed Sunday in God’s presence! May this Word continue to shape our lives as we walk in the good works God has prepared for us.

What a grand finale way to round up this 3-day “Come Ye Apart” Conference - a time of awesome worship, heartfelt prayer sessions, deep encounters, and beautiful fellowship as we strengthened one another in the Lord.

We were tremendously blessed by the powerful Word from our Father in the Lord, Bishop Jonathan Alao, titled: “When Mercy Comes” from 2 Kings 5.

A timely reminder that mercy makes sure we do not receive what we truly deserve. Mercy speaks when judgment should have prevailed. Mercy preserves from certain and uncertain disasters.

One profound statement that resonated deeply:
“If you do nothing about your past, your past will not disappear.”

We also learned that when mercy comes:

• Cancellation of legal and illegal curses
• God calls forth our blessings
• Fortunes change
• God begins to do the incredible and the impossible

Just as God amplified the voices of the lepers at the gate of Samaria, may our voices be amplified for favour, remembrance, restoration, and divine acceleration.

“And mine mercy shall not depart away from him…” - 2 Samuel 7:15

Indeed, every genuine encounter with God never leaves a person the same.

What a glorious Sunday Worship Experience! 🙌🔥

The Word came with power, worship was intense, fellowship was beautiful, and hearts were stirred in God’s presence. Glory to God!

Today, through the teaching of our Lead Pastor, Pastor Uche, we were reminded that we are ALIVE IN CHRIST!

From Epistle to the Ephesians chapter 2, we saw God’s eternal purpose — that all things be gathered together in Christ. There is no neutral ground; every life is influenced either by the spirit of this world or by the Spirit of God.

“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ…” — Ephesians 2:4-5 ✨

By His mercy, we are saved by grace, raised with Christ, and seated with Him in heavenly places! We do good works not to be saved, but because we are saved.

What a Word! What a Presence! What a mighty move of God!
Jesus is glorified forever! 🔥🙌
