🌟 What’s Coming Up 🌟

🎶 Autumn Afternoon of Music and Praise: This Sunday (18th) at 3pm in Gladsmuir Parish Church. Come along and enjoy singing old-fashioned hymns in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Worship conducted by Jacqueline Waugh. Entry by donation to benefit the Friends of Gladsmuir. Refreshments at the close. All welcome!

🖼️ Longniddry Christian Aid Art Exhibition: In conjunction with the Village Art Club and the Community Art Group, the Christian Aid team will be hosting an art exhibition in Longniddry Church on Saturday 24th October between 10am and 3pm. Work by local East Lothian artists will be on display and for sale throughout the sanctuary. A small number of stalls will be selling locally produced crafts. Entry by donation. Refreshments will be available throughout the day with a lunch of
soup and bacon rolls available between 12pm and 2pm. Do come along and help raise funds for Christian Aid. And for those people who have kindly volunteered to deliver leaflets advertising the exhibition, these are available for collection in the gathering space after this Sunday's 9.45am service.

☕️ Starbuck chats: This informal gathering is set for Friday 30th October at 10am in the Coal Road Starbucks. All welcome!

🌺 Remembrance Sunday: On Sunday 8th November, our services at both Gladsmuir and Longniddry will commence at 10.45am, in time for the Two-Minute Silence at 11 o’clock.

🥌 New Age Kurling: Tuesdays from 2-4pm in Room 3, Longniddry Church.

☕️ Wednesday Club: From 2.30-4pm in Room 2, Longniddry Church. Come along and enjoy a variety of activities and tea/coffee.

🏀 Sporting Memories Group: Thursdays from10.30am–12 noon in Room 3,

We're having one final Glut Hub before the Fruit Festival:

Friday 2 October | 6.15-7.15pm
Longniddry Parish Church

Bring along good-quality surplus fruit or veg for us to put to use at the Festival and through the Glut Hub.
Please no windfalls or damaged fruit.
Then it's Fruit Festival time on Saturday!

🌟 What’s Coming Up 🌟

🍎 Longniddry Fruit Festival 2026: This year’s inaugural event is on Saturday 3rd October at Longniddry Church, from 1-4pm. Come along and enjoy the produce of the village, transformed by local cooks into jams, chutneys and so much more!

🌽 Harvest Thanksgiving Services: These will take place on Sunday 4th October in Longniddry Church at 9.45am and Gladsmuir Church at 11am. Donations of nonperishable items (tins, packets, jars, etc.) will benefit the work of East Lothian Foodbank.

🎵 Autumn Concert!: Come to Longniddry Church on Thursday 8th October at 7pm
to hear the transition musicians of Longniddry Primary School and Preston Lodge High School perform pieces they have been learning. Interval refreshments
provided by Longniddry Gala Committee. Admission by donation, with proceeds
benefiting the schools’ music activities and the Gala.

🕊️ International Peace Day Art Exhibition: Come to Longniddry Parish Church on this Saturday (19th) from 10am to 12 noon to marvel at an exhibition of peacethemed artwork created by a full 180 Longniddry Primary School pupils. Also, explore the prayer labyrinth in the church grounds – a space to peacefully walk and contemplate. Admission free. Refreshments served.

☕️ Starbuck chats: This informal gathering for chat, blether and quaffing of hot beverages is set for Friday 25th September at 10am in the Coal Road Starbucks.

🍎 Longniddry Fruit Festival 2026: This year’s inaugural event is Saturday 3rd October at Longniddry Church, so if you make jam, chutney or other preserves, or if you are a baker then please set a date in your diary now. The aim is to create a harvest hub. More details in the coming weeks or speak to Frances.

🎶 School’s Musical Showcase - Thursday 8th October 7pm in Longniddry Church. Come along to hear a variety of performances from Longniddry Primary and Preston Lodge Pupils, with refreshments served. Entry and refreshments for a donation to be split between Longniddry Gala and Preston Lodge High School
