Salaam bros n sis. We are starting 'learn Arabic classes' in Long Eaton Masjid. These are open to everyone. These will re-start in September 2025. Insha’Allah they will be Monday to Thursday evenings between 5 and 6. Please call 07932 695287 nearer to time for enrolment. You can also join anytime in the year.

Salaam with the grace of Allah we have acquired extra space for Juma prayers. The extra space is across the road from masjid entrance. You will see an enclosed staircase leading to the prayer room upstairs. All denominations welcomed

Long Eaton Masjid will remain open for non congregational prayers.
However, we strongly urge worshippers to follow government guidance and the following additional measures:
> Please bring your own prayer mats
> Keep a distance of 2 meters whilst praying
> Bring your own sanitizer and use regularly
> Try to do wudhu at home if possible
> Do not remain longer than necessary

Assalamu Alaykum

I regret to inform you that we have taken the difficult decision to suspend Jummah Salah at the Long Eaton Masjid due to the serious nature of the Covid-19 outbreak.

We have sought scholarly opinion and in times such as this it is a priority to protect and preserve human life by preventing the spread of this virus. The Messenger (saw) said: "There should be neither harming (dharar) nor reciprocating harm (dhirar).”

We will continue to review the situation and urge that everyone follows the guidance being provided. May Allah (SWT) protect us and our loved ones from harm.
