St Remigius Church, Long Clawson

St Remigius Church, Long Clawson St Remigius in the village of Long Clawson, Leicestershire. We are an active Anglican Parish Church. The church is open daily during daylight hours.

We have a regular service pattern including Communion, Common Prayer, Evensong & All-age Worship. Our regular service pattern is as follows:

1st Sunday of the month: All-age worship at 10am
2nd Sunday of the month: Holy Communion at 8.30am
3rd Sunday of the month: Evensong at 6.30pm
4th Sunday of the month: Holy Communion at 10am

In addition to these services we often hold 'special' services, activities and social occasions.

Do take a look at our Advent nativity scene adjacent to the front porch of St Remigius. There will be new additions to spot daily.

After a happy family service spent on some basic construction & planning, we will be adding to our scene each day throughout Advent and hope you enjoy the unfolding story.

Christmas is fast approaching and we are looking forward to our usual festive celebrations - dates to follow.

We have embarked on a major and much needed improvement project at St Remigius and we are excited to share our progress with you.

Our HARVEST SERVICE & SUPPER is coming up on
SUNDAY 5th OCTOBER at 5pm.

We hope you’ll join us & stay for supper - drop me a message or email if you’d like supper.

Join us to press apples for juice just ahead of the service - contributions of apples would be lovely if you have some - either pop them in the church porch or bring them with you on the day. We can then all sample our juice with supper afterwards.

If you’re new to church or haven’t been for a while, this is a lovely service to come to - we will be thoughtful, joyful & a little silly too!

We are a mixture of folk of all ages, who love our church but aren’t precious about it. Youngsters are encouraged to join in and feel at home at St Remigius.
