We’re thrilled to see the return of our DRY Invites service. We’re headed to Raphoe Catheral on Sunday 20th September, beginning at 7pm, for a time of praise, hearing from young people, prayer and sharing refreshments together!

This is open to everyone across our diocese and we’d love you to spread the word about it in your churches.

Many of our young people will know Reece as one of our diocesan volunteers, having been with us for many DRY weekends and Summer Madnesses.

We wish him all the best and will be keeping him in our prayers.

The entire church family at St Columba's Church Omagh is encouraged to pray for Reece as he prepares to go to Argentina to work alongside Sams Ireland.

As a church, we have financially and prayerfully supported the work of Sams Ireland for many years and now it is a great encouragement to see Reece going to experience the work of the local church in South America.

If you are able, and would like to support him, there will be an opportunity to donate this Sunday by simply dropping your donation into one of the allocated baskets at church, or during the coffee time.

Do keep Reece in your prayers in the coming weeks.

The Diocese of Derry and Raphoe is seeking to recruit a pioneer minister to establish and lead the exciting Waterside Church Plant in Londonderry, reaching out to young families with little or no connection with church. The Church Plant is a joint initiative by Glendermott Parish Church and All Saints’ Clooney, funded by the Pioneer Ministry.

This full-time role will be funded for five years initially (including six-month probationary period) and will incorporate three years’ training to obtain the C.o.I. Pioneer Ministry Certificate.

We are looking for someone with:
a strong and active Christian faith;
a passion for evangelism and nurturing disciples;
experience in outreach, mission or pioneering ministry;
creativity and initiative in developing new ways of sharing the Gospel;
effective relationship-building and communication skills;
the ability to identify, equip and encourage others in their faith and build a team ministry;
resilience, adaptability and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
a desire to engage with young adults, families and the wider community;
a commitment to prayer and discerning God’s leading in mission.
