Dear Friends,

Please be reminded that we shall have the Sacrament of Holy Unction (Соборование) at St Edward's RC church in Romford tomorrow, Monday 16th March at 6.00 pm.

Please note that during the Sacrament of Holy Unction the priest will anoint your face, ears, neck, chest and hands with oil. Please dress and tie your headscarf in a way that does not hinder the anointing!

Напоминаем, что во время таинства Собо́рования елеем (маслом) помазываются лицо, уши, шея, верхняя часть груди и кисти рук. Пожалуйста, оденьтесь и повяжите платок на голову так, чтобы это не мешало помазыванию!

Dear Friends,

We weren't able to arrange a Saturday service in Romford this month, but we shall have two weekday evening services. Note that the order is the other way round from what was announced in church on Saturday.

Monday 9th March - First and second Finding of the Head of St John the Baptist
18:00 9th Hour, Typika and Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts (Литургия Преждеосвященных Даров)
This will be the first time that we have had this beautiful Lenten service.
Those wishing to receive Holy Communion should fast from all food and drink at least from 12:00.

Monday 16th March
18:00 Sacrament of Holy Unction (Соборование)
Please come appropriately dressed to allow anointing on the face, chest and hands.

The next service in Romford will take place this Saturday, Dec. 13th at St Edward the Confessor RC Church, 5 Park End Rd, Romford RM1 4AT.

It will be the Feast of St Andrew the First-called and our Patronal Festival.

We have to start earlier than usual as there is another event in the church at 1.00 pm

Divine Liturgy 10.00 am.
Refreshments in the Hall 12.30 pm
