Hinde Street Methodist Church

Hinde Street Methodist Church Welcome to Hinde Street, a warm and welcoming Methodist church located in the heart of Marylebone. Both of these services take place twice a month.

We are an inclusive and affirming, open-minded, and justice-seeking community, committed to God's love in all things. We join for worship on Sundays at 11am, both in person and via Zoom. We also have services at 9.30am in person and 6:30pm via Zoom. We belong to the Methodist Church in Britain https://www.methodist.org.uk/. We’re also a member of Churches Together in Westminster and have a special

partnership with our Anglican neighbours at St Marylebone Parish Church. Along with the Chinese and international congregations at King’s Cross Methodist Church, we are part of the West London Mission which empowers and assists people affected by homelessness, poverty and trauma through a wide range of services. Read more on the WLM website: https://www.wlm.org.uk/Pages/Category/real-life-stories. If you are interested in becoming involved, you can do that here: http://www.hindestreet.org.uk/get-involved.html. There are also various classes, community groups, 12 Step Groups, and other meetings that take place at our Church. All groups are listed on our website and can be found via our homepage at http://www.hindestreet.org.uk/.

Tune in to JPIT's Politics in the Pulpit podcast this week to hear one of our congregation members, Hannah Fremont-Brown, speak on readings for Pentecost!

We thank Hannah and the Joint Public Issues Team for bringing us this great resource.

This week, Hannah Fremont-Brown joints Naomi and Paul to talk about the readings for Pentecost, Sunday 24th May! 🎙️

They explore themes including:
🗣️ Unity and diversity across cultures and languages in a polarised world
👐 Being open to the unpredictability of God’s spirit in our relationships
🏗️ Using our gifts to build the common good
🍓 God being deeply invested in our physical needs
