Drugs are taking lives and breaking families, and the people caught up in them are not strangers. They are members of our community.

In this week's khutbah, Imam Anisul Haque explains why Allah has forbidden intoxicants and how young people are drawn into the destructive drug trade. He also reminds us that those who have fallen prey need help and guidance, and that the door of tawbah remains open.

'Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.' (Az-Zumar 39:53)
