Hope and Anchor Community Church started as a handful of passionate people, a word from God, and a desire to see the people of Camden Town moving in a loving relationship with Jesus and achieving their full potential in life.
In June 2015 we started meeting in the basement of a coffee shop. When we realised that we were filling the whole basement and that we almost could not tell the difference
between the people that came for the meeting and the other customers, we knew that it was time to move. Since then we have met in many different spaces as we’ve grown as a church family. While the interior of the buildings where we meet have continually changed, our heart has not. We believe in living BEYOND OUR WALLS by being the Church seven days a week, not just on Sunday morning. Our heart is to meet the needs of the community where they’re at, and be the practical hands and feet of Jesus. We do this through various community outreaches like barbeques and movie nights, regular weekend evangelism where we hand out free hot drinks and meals, a community support programme and our shop on the high street, THINK COFFEE INK+. It's through these daily interactions where we create a space for our community to encounter Jesus! Due to the current restrictions, our services are exclusively online which means our Church family has grown all over the world!
